Struct Resource

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct Resource { pub entity_type: String, pub uid: ResourceId, pub attrs: IndexMap<String, Value>, }
Expand description

A resource being acted on. The entity_type is the Cedar type name (Mailbox, Repository, etc) and uid is the entity’s ID.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§entity_type: String§uid: ResourceId§attrs: IndexMap<String, Value>

Implementations§

Source§

impl Resource

Source

pub fn new(entity_type: impl Into<String>, uid: impl Into<ResourceId>) -> Self

Construct a resource with no attributes.

Source

pub fn with_attr(self, k: impl Into<String>, v: impl Into<Value>) -> Self

Add an attribute and return self for chaining.

Source

pub fn entity_uid(&self) -> String

👎Deprecated since 0.2.1: Use the Display impl to write into an existing buffer (no allocation).

Full Cedar entity UID like Mailbox::"alice@acme".

Prefer the Display impl for formatting into an existing buffer (avoids a String allocation on the hot path). This method is retained for callers that genuinely need an owned String (e.g. serialization to JSON).
